These AJ1s aren’t like most—they were the prototype before the iconic Wings logo. MJ’s first photoshoot featured these kicks with “Air Jordan” on the collar, and his handwritten message, “My very best,” is hidden on the left shoe, visible under UV light. Even the shoebox tells a story, with tissue paper printed with Peter Moore’s early sketches of the legendary design.
